Rachel & Aaron
18 Days - 2 Countries - 5 Destinations
This beautiful couple have more than just their careers in common. Primatologists Aaron and Rachel love nature and biology, so we knew that a vacation that took them to some of the most beautiful parts of the natural world was exactly what they needed.

The first destination on Aaron and Rachel’s blind honeymoon was Quito, the capital city of Ecuador located high in the Andes. Up here in the mountains, the views are stunning, the food delicious and the culture abundant. Rachel and Aaron explored the sites, including Quito’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its unique architecture.

From here, we sent our honeymooners to the Galapagos Islands for a once-in-a-life-time experience. They took a tour of the highlands and giant tortoise reserve, and explored Isabela Island, the largest of the Galapagos Islands. On Isabela, Aaron and Rachel had access to stunning beaches and unique wildlife, and stayed at the charming La Casa De Marita, a boutique hotel with gorgeous views and easy access to everything.
Next stop was Sacha Lodge, a two-thousand hectare ecological reserve right in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon. At Sacha Lodge, Rachel and Aaron were surrounded by the vibrant jungle and all its wonders including monkeys and river otters, kapok trees and a black-water lake.
Finally, we made sure Rachel and Aaron could spend the last few days of their blind honeymoon relaxing with a stay at Termas Papallacta, a hot springs spa and resort up in the Andes. Here, our newlyweds could soak in the thermal pools, take in the magical surroundings and refresh before settling into married life.
